It was sensational and without doubt the best Italian dish I've eaten, outside of Italy. This made sense when I subsequently found out owner Kevin Maudson had worked at renowned Italian eatery Salvo's for 20 years, before leaving last year to set up Del Verde Read the Review

It might not sound a big deal but we struggled to remember the last meal out where staff had taken the trouble to memorise our requests. Another touch which elevated Del Verde above many eateries was seeing the chef out on the restaurant floor, talking to the diners and asking how their meals were

Just to let you know, over many years, always wanting a local, inviting, warm, informal, friendly restaurant that was just on our doorstep were we could visit occasionally without great pomp and fuss, plus if the food was good that would an extra bonus, unfortunately having lived in the area for the last 22 years we have never found such a place UNTIL LAST NIGHT!
Everything was perfect, the food was hot, delicious and portioned to perfection the menu small interesting and variable to suit all taste’s, the service warm, friendly, advisory and non patronizing, even with the coffee which I never order because it is usually some cool undrinkable mud, the restaurant gave me the confidence it would be good, and it was, hot and delicious.
I would just like to thank you for a fantastic evening the first of this seasons festivity’s and it has put us all in the right Christmas spirit, hope to see you all soon.

Located in the golf club next to Roundhay Park, overlooking the green. Wonderful food and service this family owned restaurant is a gem, and perfect for a romantic or family meal.

We feel that we should write and thank you all again for the excellent way you approached and conducted our anniversary celebrations.
From the moment we arrived, and we were early, our reception by the young ladies both in front and behind the bar was first rate. They were smartly dressed and acted in a truly professional manner both at reception and when they served the meal in a quiet, efficient and unobtrusive way.
The dining room and the tables were tastefully prepared and the food was of excellent quality, beautifully presented and cooked to perfection.
We and I am sure all our 34 family and friends came away with nothing but praise for your restaurant and your staff.
Thanks to your efforts we will remember the afternoon as part of a day which exceeded our expectations.
